About Fred Bock, Organist...
Fred Bock is the director of music at
Hollywood Presbyterian Church in California. When he plays the organ, Fred
brings a wealth of background in keyboard experience to every recording. He has
been playing piano since the age of six, and moved to the organ at age twelve.
Fred is recognized as a superior talent in the world of religious music. He also
recorded for motion pictures including several Disney productions. This is one
of eleven recordings Fred Bock has made for the Summit Records Label. On
this album, Fred has selected fifteen of the most beloved hymns of faith and inspiration.
The rich, full sounds of the Allen Organ are demonstrated in his sensitive
