About Tracey Ann Collins... The
amazing ability God has given Tracey Ann Collins to communicate to the spirit of
her listeners was powerfully demonstrated on a Sunday evening in one of
America's largest churches. the service was being televised, and every minute
was prescheduled. Tracey began playing. Soon the crowd was leaning forward in
delight. Before the clear sound of her strings had faded away, the audience and
the choir jumped to their feet in thunderous applause. the encore that night was
one more tribute to Tracey's God given abilities, her dedication, and the wise
training she has received which enables her to play skillfully upon an
instrument of strings.
Loren Elms is a young man who is committed to
excellence in music. Beside being a skilled pianist, he has written and arranged
numerous pieces for choir and orchestra. His interpretation of Tracey's
arrangements adds the perfect accompaniment.
Our hope is that many like Tracey and Loren
will rise to the challenge of lifting the standard of excellence in the vital
field of music.
A Statement from Tracey Ann Collins Since
both my parents were professional musicians, I naturally began to study music at
the age of four. Yet my excitement in this new undertaking was short-lived as
practicing began intruding into my everyday life and disrupting my "free
time". Normal life," as I saw it, was no longer an option; I must
continue this drudgery of violin and piano lessons until age eighteen.
How often I struggled against this seemingly
wasted time! However, as the years have progressed, I've seen how the very
things that I fought against during my growing-up years have now become my
greatest assets and tools for ministry. Truly our parents do know what is best
for us. I'm grateful for the foundation and heritage of classical and Godly
music which was given to me.
It is with much gratefulness that I am able to
say as the Psalmist, "The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart
trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with
my song will I praise him." (Psalm 28:7)
