MY COMMENTS The music
on this CD is a lot like the style of the Back To The Bible Musicians recording
that I have been playing on the station for over a year. Tom Fettke and Billy
Ray Hearn have been doing music for a lot of years. Their musical arrangements
have been played on many Christian Radio station over these many years.
The message inside the CD cover reads... "The
Bells Are ringing People are singing Angels say with joy 'Jesus is born'!
There in a manger He was no stranger Prophesied, now arrived, 'Jesus Is Born'!'"
These celebrative words from a contemporary Christmas
song once again tell of the great event which literally thousands of carols and
hymns have been written about for over 2000years.
There are many stories inside the one big story of the
birth of the Christ child in a manger. The ancient prophets, King Herod, the
wise men, the shepherds and the angels, Joseph and Mary, the journey and the inn
keeper
For centuries these little "sub plots" have
been chronicled by carols written by famous but many times unknown composers.
Not only do these carols remind us of the sacred event but of the many wonderful
and warm feelings the season brings with its family gatherings and exchanging of
gifts.
Hopefully this collection of 42 hymns and carols will
bring to your mind and heart the message of nostalgia of the season as well as
the reason.
