MY COMMENTS The message inside the CD cover reads... During his career, he has sung chorally under the direction of Leon Anderson, J. Marty Cope and performed concerts with pianist Larry Dalton. He has directed both adult and children's choirs throughout Minnesota. Currently, he is serving in the music ministry at Parkers Lake Baptist Church in Plymouth, Minnesota. Sarah Gnitka has shown a love of music for several years. Beginning her vocal training in 2000, she studied under her father, Steve Gnitka. She is currently training under Mary May of Crystal, MN. Competing vocally, she has progressed to the State MMTA competition. She shares her musical talents through involvement in the youth choir at Parkers Lake Baptist Church and in local nursing homes. In addition to singing, Sarah enjoys playing piano and violin. The Message of The Journey God is reflected in all things we see. Looking at his mighty creation, we can see his magnificence. God loved us so much that he sacrificed His only son, the perfect lamb, so we can have an opportunity to spend eternity with him. As we think about the life (Jesus Christ) that was given, we see there was more than just shed blood on a cross; our sin was put upon Him. Because God equates the best of our deeds as good as they may be, to filthy rags. There is no way to see God except through Jesus Christ. The Bible states, "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God", "There is none righteous, no not one". Acts 4:12 states, "Neither is there salvation in any other for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved". The good news is, if we "believe on the Lord Jesus Christ," and accept his free gift of eternal life, we will be with Him in heaven forever. It is not easy to follow Christ. On our journey, there are many times we feel like quitting and giving up. We need to remember that Jesus will never leave us or forsake us. Christ will give us the strength we need in times of despair. The more we depend on Jesus, the more we see ourselves glorifying Him. If our lives are dependent on Christ, God can then use us to serve Him, worship Him, and help others see His love. It will be a glorious day when we see Jesus face to face in heaven as we complete a life dependent on Jesus alone. I would like to encourage you to look at your own journey and relationship with Jesus. Do you understand who He is and why He died? Have you trusted Jesus as your savior? I hope to see you at the end of the journey -- in heaven! | |||||||||||
