Rudy Atwood was the pianist for the Old Fashioned Revival Hour from 1937 until 1969. He died in 1992, shortly before his 80th birthday. Many attended the live broadcasts of the OFRH at the Municipal Auditorium in Long Beach, California, just to watch Rudy play. His treble arpeggios and octave bass runs added a Bach-like accompaniment as his hands seemingly flew across the keyboard.

Rudy Atwood has often been called the Dean of Gospel Pianists and at least two generations of church pianists have emulated his distinctive style.

This double-length CD album is a re-issue of two albums that Rudy Recorded in the 1950's/ It has been digitally re-mastered to bring to life all the beauty of the original recording.
