Rudy Atwood -- Heavenly Sunshine
Here's what's inside the CD cover In 1937, Dr Charles E. Fuller asked Rudy and the quartet to join his Old Fashioned Revival Hour as it prepared to join the Mutual Broadcasting system radio network. For the next 31 years Rudy's unique piano accompaniment thrilled and blessed a weekly audience estimated at more than 20 million people. At the same time, Rudy traversed North America as a piano soloist in his own right. He produced numerous record albums and published 5 volumes of his hymn arrangements. Also, during this period he taught piano at Westmont College and served a youth pastor at Eagle Rock Baptist Church. This album is the first and only one to Feature Rudy's
famous arrangements of Heavenly Sunshine and Jesus Saves, both of which were
heard weekly on the Old Fashioned Revival Hour broadcast. Recorded in the early
1980's, this album is the second to the last album recorded by Rudy, and
features some of his most popular numbers.
