Northland
Camp and Conference Center was founded in 1961 by Mr. and Mrs. Paul Patz of
Pound, Wisconsin. After many years in the business world, Mr. Patz felt led of
God to invest his business profits into a Christ-centered ministry, He purchased
land in Northeastern Wisconsin and began his eternal investment by building a
Christian camp. Northland has grown from its humble beginnings to being one of
the largest Christian camps in the Midwest. Many college-age students from all
over the United States commit their summers to minister on the camp staff.
During their ten weeks of service, each staff member is intensely trained
trained in Biblical principles of discipleship and evangelism. By end of the
summer, they have learned how to minister to and work with nearly 4,000
children, teens, and families who annually come to Northland for the summer
camping experience. The camp maintains a "life-touching-life"
philosophy and is committed to "helping campers take another step
spiritually." Every week, the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His
saving grace is faithfully proclaimed by godly, Spirit-anointed preachers. This
sacred recording in its entirety was produced by the summer staff of 2006 on
site at Northland Studios and in Indianapolis, Indiana at Aire Born Recording
Studios. All of the musical selections were used in the services during the
camping weeks. Our desire is that the music that ministered to many will be used
to touch even more lives.
