My Comments

Mike Zachary is the chairman of the music department at Golden State Baptist College. He received his doctorate in piano performance from the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago, and he has been involved in college teaching since 1981.

The message on the backside of the CD cover reads...
Once a month, the men of North Valley Baptist Church gather on Thursday evenings at 9:00PM at the church for a special time of prayer. After prayer requests have been taken, the men spread through the auditorium to pray. During this time, the pianist often gently plays hymns and gospel songs. Prayer Time is a recording that reflects the musical style of those evenings.
