Linda McKechnie grew up in Cherry Hill, New Jersey in a very musical family and started playing the piano at age four. With her brother, Don Marsh, they sang and played at church activities, youth rallies and summer camps.

Since then, Don Marsh (her brother) has become one of the leading Christian arrangers, producers and conductors in Gospel music. Linda has served numerous Presbyterian churches as organist and choir director. She is internationally recognized for her significant contribution to the art of handbell ringing, composing, arranging and conducting. Linda and her husband, David, pastor of Grace Presbyterian Church, Houston, Texas, often leads retreats and conferences as a team utilizing the ministry of music to enhance the ministry of the Word.

The combined musical talents of Don and Linda have resulted in the release of Hymnworks I, Hymnworks II, and Hymnworks Christmas, magnificent and creative blends of favorite themes from the Baroque and Classical period with familiar and well loved hymn tunes.

Because of the Hymnworks series, Linda has traveled extensively throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia playing concerts and sharing here Christian faith through music.
