David Chapman grew up in Antofagasta, Chile where his parents serve as missionaries. Having been born into a musically gifted family, he grew to love the ministry of music at an early age. In his teen years--prompted by his older brother--he-developed an interest in the guitar. This resulted in several years of classical guitar lessons in Chile, as well as some training in Spain. Once in college, at Bob Jones University, David majored in Church Music, with a trumpet proficiency, but continued to develop his guitar skills. While a student, David was asked to participate in the duo guitar recording, Sun Of My Soul, for Soundforth Music. He has also recorded for various other sacred CD's including a number of Spanish projects. After traveling with the Stave Pettit Evangelistic Team in 2007-2008, David feels the call of God to use his musical talents on his home mission field of Chile.
